French pianist Mirabelle Kajenjeri was born in 1998 to Burundian and Ukrainian parents. She is strongly influenced by her multicultural background, which she explored notably as a guest speaker at TEDxRoubaix. She was awarded multiple prizes, including first prize at the Santa Cecilia International Piano Competition (2021), second prize at the Kissinger Klavier Olymp (2023) and semi-finalist at both the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition (2023) and the Cleveland International Piano Competition (2024). The year 2024 marked a period of growing international attention, leading to the start of her Artist Residency at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium, as well as her joining the Fondation Gautier Capuçon. Less than a year later, in May 2025, she was named Laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition for piano. Internationally, Mirabelle performs at festivals such as Flagey Piano Days, Kissinger Sommer and Piano Days Cleveland. She has also performed with orchestras such as the Brussels Philharmonic, Philharmonie Baden-Baden, Real Filharmonía de Galicia, Orchestre de Picardie and the Orquestra Filarmónica Portuguesa.
